Launching is just the first step in connecting your employees to RightNow Media @ Work. It is important to take ongoing steps to onboard new users to reach your maximum population and increase awareness of the service to both new and existing employees. We have provided several best practices below that will drive onboarding of new users to your subscription.
Promote RightNow Media @ Work as an Employee Benefit
Have information about RightNow Media @ Work available alongside instructions on how to register for other employee benefits. This can include a link or physical invitation to your company’s custom invitation link. You can create your own or use the tools in our graphics package found on the launch resource page, www.rightnowmediaatwork.org/launch.
Email is typically the most effective way for us to communicate efficiently, but sometimes it is more effective to use alternative methods that fit your company to promote RightNow Media @ Work. We know that every business is unique, so we are here to help you promote the resource via your communication preferences. Here are some avenues we have used in the past:
- Graphics – we provide access to multiple prebuilt graphics promoting the resource on our website. If you have graphic designers, the files can be edited so you can make changes to fit your brand.
- Posters in hallways
- Announcements on bulletin boards
- Text-messaging integration
- “Intro Fliers” to add to new-hire packets
Add a Page for RightNow Media @ Work on your Intranet
The best way to do this is to add our Launch Video to explain what RightNow Media @ Work is and your business’ custom invitation link for employees to sign up. You can also feature some examples of our resources or embed any of our RightNow Media @ Work Original trailers there.
Make RightNow Media @ Work Part of your New-Hire Process
A new employee training class is a great time to make sure your new hires are aware that they can create a free account.
While we can never require someone to use RightNow Media @ Work, we recommend relaunching at least 1 to 2 times per year to increase momentum and add large groups of new users at a time.
